JOB VACANCIES

 

With recent funding from The Scottish Government and The Highland Council, The Portree and Braes Community Trust, in partnership with the Portree Community Centre Association, is pleased to create two, new, part-time roles which will support the ongoing operation and promotion of the Portree Community Centre as a venue for sports, arts and community use:

 

 

Funding is available for the following roles for a twelve-month period:

 

  • 1 x part-time Caretaker (7 hours per week)

  • 1 x  part-time Bookings and Finance Coordinator (7 hours per week)

 

 

Context of roles:

The Portree and Braes Community Trust and The Portree Community Centre Association have been working closely together since 2019 to secure the future of the community centre. The centre is currently used by groups, businesses, schools, and other organisations for a range of events and activities throughout the year. The centre is also currently used as business premises by three local businesses.   

 

We are looking for individuals who can work flexibly alongside the existing voluntary committee to support the smooth, day-to-day running of the venue. Click on the links below to download the job description and criteria for each role.
