In October 2020 the Trust was awarded £9,000 from the Highland Council via the Town Centre Fund - a fund which enables local authorities to re-purpose town centres to become more diverse, successful and sustainable.

With these funds, the Trust have invested in new high-quality advertising boards which will be installed in the Green car park beside the Portree VisitScotland iCentre. Funds from advertising sales will be reinvested by the Trust to support further improvements around the village centre.
